The season runs from the end of August to the end of March each year. It starts with Autumn Hunting when young hounds are taught to hunt a trail. Meets normally take place very early in the morning and in confined areas. This maximizes scent, limits distractions for young hounds and allows horses and riders to build up their fitness. Hunting proper gets underway on the last Saturday in October with the start time moving to 11am. The Tedworth generally meet on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays during the Autumn Hunting season, and Tuesdays and Saturdays during the main season.
Field money for mounted hound exercise and Autumn Hunting will be £10 until 30th September and £20 thereafter. (Half price for under 18s).
